Get-togethers
Meetings for Hornby enthusiasts are now held throughout the British Isles, monthly or bi-monthly. .You would be most welcome at any of them if you are within travelling distance. Details are given in the HRCA magazine.
Major toyfairs
My involvement as organiser of the renowned 'Reading Vintage' toyfair came to an end in March 2011, but the event continues under new ownership. This event is arguably THE BEST for vintage toys only. The next event will be held on Sunday 4th. March 2012, with the usual number of over 150 trading tables and many exhibitions already booked.

Minimum order value
Because of the time involved in packing parcels, I am obliged to adopt a minimum mail-order value of £10

allow time for me to deal with your orders. I employ no staff and can deal with one thing at one time only!
I try to despatch parcels within a few days of receipt of order/payment, but please allow up to 21 days before making a follow-up enquiry. Each premature enquiry tends to slow up the whole process!

General Observations
My business continues to be a mixture of toyfair attendances, direct mail order and Internet transactions. Each area requires a considerable amount of time and effort, hence the six-monthly interval between updating of the sales pages. Numerous interesting items of stock 'come and go' without ever appearing on the site, although I do try to post all items for sale.
Within these pages...
I have very little mainstream 0-gauge to offer. However, I have a considerable amount of Chad Valley, Mettoy, Brimtoy and other similar items on offer. It is unusual to see so much of these minor makes offered at one time. .
Good stocks of Hornby Dublo have continued to be acquired, giving me a representative selection of items to offer.
My continued interest in Tri-ang Railways has resulted in an expansion of the 'Other 00 Railway' page..
My recently-published reference lists showing all Tri-ang and Tri-ang Hornby catalogue numbers are available at £6 each.
I have disposed of the majority of my Diecast and Minic stock, hence the very sparse offerings on those sales pages. No doubt these sections will be rebuilt in the next few months.
One interesting item of Tri-ang 'Spot-on' remains - an excellently restored example of the scarce Mulliner Coach Also an interesting and delightful Tri-ang novelty appears in the Novelty/Tinplate section.
I also have some interesting Meccano, sailing craft and other novelty items for sale on the Novelty/Tinplate page.
A very large selection of printed matter is offered on the Literature & Catalogues page.

You may find that an item has been sold or reserved prior to your call or letter, as my list is read world-wide within minutes of publishing on my website. .If you miss an item I may be able to compensate by advising you of recently-acquired items which are not yet listed.
